Oenobiote is based on an innovative combination of molecular biology and microfluidics, specifically designed for the wine sector. This unique approach offers considerable advantages:
• Speed ​​of analysis: results are delivered in less than 20 minutes.
• Analysis of genetic material: by focusing on both DNA and RNA, it is possible to distinguish living microorganisms from inactive or dead ones.
• Assessment of the level of metabolic activity: The measurement of DNA and RNA makes it possible to estimate the viability of microbial populations and to better anticipate the risks of contamination or deviation.
• Multiplex solution: The platform is able to analyse multiple different microorganisms in a single test, which reduces the number of manipulations and speeds up decision-making.
• Innovative and accessible test protocol: sample preparation in less than 10 minutes does not require any specific technical skills in microbiology, thus facilitating the integration of the test into the quality de process of wineries and laboratories.

A range of tests in constant evolution

The Oenobiote platform offers a test dedicated to Brettanomyces bruxellensis, one of the main undesirable microorganisms in Oenology.
• Multiplex “bottled” kit: to simultaneously detect all Brettanomyces bruxellensis yeasts, lactic bacterias and acetic bacteria.
Kit dedicated to low-alcohol or non-alcoholic wines: aimed in particular at E. coli and enterococci.

During 2025, the range will be expanded with new specific kits for monitoring fermentation, especially for Saccharomyces and non-Sacharomyces yeasts, as well as for bacteria. This evolving offer will allow professionals to cover all their analytical needs to ensure and optimize the winemaking process.

NEW AT ENOMAQ 2023: MIURA MICRO

Tecnología Difusión Ibérica (TDI) introduces its Miura Micro at Enomaq 2023, the automatic and multiparametric analyser in oenology with the best value for money on the market. In addition, it combines the precision necessary for essential analyzes with a compact size and an accessible price for all types of wineries, even the smallest.

Conceived and designed to be an unattended automatic operation equipment, its 24 positions for samples and reagents allow the determination of the multiple required parameters. In addition, this equipment has been designed to be practically maintenance-free, thanks to its 72 disposable trays.

The possibility of working precisely with volumes of the order of hundreds of microliters, allows savings of up to 10 times compared to the traditional spectrophotometer.

Each kit is delivered with all the analytical parameters already programmed, allowing use of the range of TDI’s own reagents, all of them certified stable and with the best performance on the market.

NEW AT ENOMAQ 2023: MIURA 200 2 ARMS

Miura 200 2 Arms is another of the great innovations that Tecnología Difusión Ibérica (TDI) has been marketing recently.

Based on the successful Miura 200, this equipment has a second robotic arm that speeds up sample and reagent collection, providing greater analysis speed, without losing precision. With a rotating distribution system, it is capable of performing 220 analyses/hour with 44 positions for refrigerated reagents and 50 positions for samples with unlimited refilling. Ideal for those wineries with a high analytical demand.

The automatic reaction and reading cuvette washing station offers constant performance even in the most demanding situations and minimizes the cost of cuvette replacement.

The Miura 200 2 Arms can be used for enzymatic, colorimetric and turbidimetric analysis of all types of wine and must samples.

The analyzer is delivered with all the analytical parameters already programmed and with ready-to-use reagents.

ABSOLUTE NEW: AUTOMATIC EBULLOMETER

A simple and practical equipment designed to fully automatically determine the alcohol content in a single click.
With the push of a button, the equipment controls the heating power, measures the atmospheric pressure to make the necessary corrections (without the need for discs or tables) and determines the boiling point temperature to give the result in alcoholic strength.

It is practical because its measurements allow it to be installed in a minimum space within the laboratory. It is economical because it does not require reagents or consumables of any kind and the initial investment is relatively low. And it is flexible, because it allows more than one calibration depending on the type of wine: dry, semi-dry, semi-sweet, sweet, etc.

Fast and direct measure of the % alcohol, density and dry extract in wines

Alcoquick measuring system 4000 is based on an innovative patented spectroscopic measurement method that allows a direct measurement of ethanol in wines, using infrared spectral bands specifically selected in the near infrared (NIR).

The lengthy sample preparation are no longer necessary. An additional advantage of this method is the independence of the type of wine to be measured. This means that all wines from all regions, despite their differences, can be measured accurately and quickly in less than 60 seconds and with only 40 ml of sample.
The system can incorporate a high-quality ultrasonic densitometer, being able to measure simultaneously the density and the dry matter in addition to the % alcohol.
